The Devasthanam is developing Bilwanams, Flower Gardens to meet the day to day requirement of Bilwa Patri and flowers to Deities. Besides this, the Devasthanam is also developing parks with landscaping for the beautification of Srisaila Kshetram.

The Devasthanam has also taken up the planting of Trees in Srisailam as a part of protection of environment.

At present in total of 14 Flower Gardens and Parks are existing in an area of 30 acres at various places of Srisailam.


The Devasthanam has developed Bilwanams mainly at 4 places such as back side of Temple, Mallamma Thota, Basavaaih Chenu, Sarvathobhadravanam etc., for the Bilwa Patri to use in offerings of Sri Swamyvaru.

Flower Gardens

The Devasthanam raises flower gadens at some places in Srisailam for the getting of flowers to offer to Deities. These gardens comprising various types of Roses (Gulabi), Nerium ( Ganneru ), Plumeria ( Deva Ganneru), China Rose ( Mandaram) Pin Wheel flower ( Nandivardhanam ), Crape Jasmine (Garudavardhanam ) various varieties of Jasmine ( Malle ), Ixora (Nooru Varahalu ), Crosandra ( Kanakambram ) etc.


The Devasthanam has developed parks for greenery at various places such as southern and northern sides of Main Temple, near tool Plaza, in Sivadeeksha Sibirams, near Staff Quarters and also in the premises of Guest Houses, Cottages and Choultries. The important among them are Bhramari Nandanavanam, Dattatreya Vanam, Adisankaravanam, Nandivanam etc., On the Mahasivarathri day at midnight during Lingodbhavakalam (the scared time in which God Siva manifests in the form of huge flaming Linga) Abhishekam will be performed to God Mallikarjuna Swamy in a religious manner.

Rudraksha Vanam ( Rudra Gardens )

The Devasthanam has developed Rudraksha vanam ( Rudra Gardens) in an area of 6 acres at the northern side of temple and from which most beautiful scenery view of River Krishna can be seen. A monolithic Statue of God Rudra is placed here. In this park landscaping, embedding of flower plants has been taken up.

Crop Growing Of Rudraksha Trees

The Devasthanam has developed crop growing trees of Rudraksha in various gardens and parks of Srisailam mainly in Dattatreeya Vanam (South side garden of Temple), Rudra Gardens and the yielded Rudrakshas are being distributed to devotees in Dharma Pracharam programmes. Vedic Plantation: The Devasthanam has taken up Vedic Plantation which is an unique one and is in Sarvathobhadra Vanam at the area of about 9 acres on the way of Pathla Ganga. According to Vedic Tradition, some plants/ trees are associated with our birth stars. These Divine plants are being grown up in this Sarvathobhadra Vanam and so that the devotees have an opportunity to worship plants associated with their Birth Stars. Flower Decoration: The Devasthanam is making elaborate decoration of Temple premises during festival occasions and Uthsavams such as Mahasivarathri Brahmothsavams, Ugadi Uthsavams, Devi Sarannavaratra Uthsavams, Sankranthi Brahmothsavams etc. On these days specially designed garlands are offered to Deities. Pushpa Pallaki Seeva on a grand manner is being performed during Maha Sivarathri, Sankranthi and Devi Navaratra Celebrations.
